📡 New on the DETARC Website: Net Attendance Reports & Leaderboards

One of the best ways to stay active in amateur radio is simply to get on the air. Our weekly club net is where we check in with one another, welcome new operators, practice good operating procedures, and keep our local amateur radio community connected.

To encourage participation—and because a little friendly competition never hurts—we’ve added Net Attendance Reports to the members section of the DETARC website.

The reports include:

• 📈 Attendance trends over time
• 🏆 A participation leaderboard
• 📊 Statistics and charts showing club activity
• 📅 Historical check-in records

Think of it as a fun way to track your own participation and see how the club is doing as a whole. Whether you’re aiming for a perfect attendance streak or just checking in when you can, every check-in helps strengthen our club and keeps our repeaters active.

Remember, you don’t have to be an experienced operator to participate. If you’re newly licensed, our weekly net is one of the best places to build confidence on the air. We’d much rather hear you make a few mistakes than never key the microphone at all!

Our goal isn’t to see who can “win” the leaderboard—it’s to encourage everyone to get on the air a little more often. If the reports inspire you to check in one extra Tuesday each month, they’ve done exactly what they were designed to do.
