Deep East Texas Amateur Radio Club’s meeting is on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM, at the Fuller Springs Volunteer Fire Department located at 4958 U.S. Highway 69 in Lufkin, TX.

This net is scheduled to be called each Tuesday at 8 pm for the purposes of:

  • Serving the public
  • Training operators
  • Testing equipment for emergency communications
  • Exchanging ideas and information
  • and Anything else for the good of DETARC or Amateur Radio in general.

This is a directed net. All Amateur Radio Operators licensed for this frequency are cordially invited to check in. DETARC, ARES, RACES, and Skywarn members are encuraged to participate.

If there is traffic, handle traffic according to procedure.

If no traffic is heard after about 10 seconds or so, proceed calling the net.
